Manson Hotel,Kisumu Rd,Mombasa : hidden away in a quiet residential neighbourhood and is well looked after.Security is tight,and its facilities include a restaurant,TV and pool room .Rooms have bathroom and aircondition . Breakfast is included in the price .
Hotel Sapphire,Mwembe Tayari Rd,Mombasa: is close to the train station and facilities here are good,although the architects made a few curious decisionswhen they desihned the place.All rooms have a bathroom,air condition and satellite TV. There is also a swimmingpool and two restaurants,Chinese and Indian.Breakfast is included in the price.
Royal Court Hotel,Haile Selassie Rd,Mombasa: One of the best places in the price range.It is a stylish business hotel and the rooms are nicely decorated and have air condition and satellite TV. There are great views and excellent food at the Tawa Terrace restaurant on the roof .
Oceanic Hotel was once a luxurious place to stay,but it is looking pretty old these days.However the facilities are still good,including several restaurants and a pool,and most rooms have cracking sea views.You can walk here from the Likoni Ferry,but you have to go around the long way via Kaunda Ave if you are coming by car .
Mid Range Hotels in Mombasa
Excellent Hotel,Haille Selassie Rd: is very good value.It is popular with travellers.There is a restaurant and rooftop bar where live bands sometimes play.
